Six Months Later
I thought it rather odd that here we are newlyweds, overly excited about each other and our new marriage, and we don't have one single photo of the wedding on this blog. We even have a photo of Noah and Laura's wedding, but none of ours! So, I am here to do one of my few posts to remedy that oddity. It probably helps to motivate me to post that I am actually supposed to be working on my homework right now! Jared Bauman of Bauman photography in downtown San Diego takes credit for these quality pictures. These photos may also help to explain the name of our webpage a bit. I cannot find any digital photos of our reception at the Irish pub on our computer, but once I do find them, I will post these as well. Until then, enjoy!
Here are Michael and his groomsmen in their manly gear. Yes, the Irish wear kilts as well. It's not just a Scottish thing! The Irish tartans are determined by their county, whereas the Scottish tartans are by clan. This tartan (which is the pattern of the kilt material) is a generic dress tartan popular for formal events by wannabe Celts in the U.S.Pictured from left to right: Josh E., Dave D., John W., Jimmy R. (my bro!), and Steve T. and of course front and center, Michael. They're so handsome!

This is me and my ladies, of course. My mother made my fairy princess dress and veil. We chose the fabric and pattern together and she labored lovingly over every stitch for nine months. The blue element was per Michael's request for a dress with "some color in it."From left to right: Althea T., Christina H., Beth C. (formerly L.), and Grace P.
