What Superbowl?
I heard rumors that there was a big football game played this past Sunday. Something about young horses and grizzlies... Well, I'm still not sure what that was all about, but everything at the McMahon's place was well. We had a nice nap on Sunday and some great Italian food with friends later that night.
Ok, seriously, we didn't watch the superbowl because of the media de-tox we're doing, but also because.... well, the Chargers got me excited at the prospect that they might make it to the big game and then they choked. No surprise, I'm sad to say. After all that anticipation the Bears and Colts, who feel equally towards, didn't present a viable reason from missing Bible Study later in the evening or watching TV. Shannon and I had a somewhat restful afternoon instead. But yes, we're still American even though we didn't watch the game. It did feel weird though to not be a part of the cultural norm. There are more people on I-8 at night than there were during that game. Crazy :D ~Mike

Hi Shannon and Mike, ok i hope this doesnt' freak you out but it's actually Claire (your room/suitemate for a year)!!!I was listening to Switchfoot today (and i haven't done that for the longest time) and it reminded me of the concerts and how you first gave me the cd.....and I was like what a shame we didn't stay in touch! But i'm not sure about your e-mail anymore and when i googled this turned up!
